炭酸飲料を週に2回飲むと膵臓癌のリスクが高まるという論文がでたそうです。

Abstractを見ましたが、考察までは書かれていませんでした・・・

要は、糖分を摂りすぎることによって、血糖値が上昇して、インスリンをたくさん分泌するために膵臓細胞が異常な分裂（すなわち癌）を促進するのではないかという考察をしているようです。

糖分が高くない炭酸飲料ではどうなんでしょう？

→記事中に、「今回の研究では通常の炭酸飲料とダイエット炭酸飲料の区別はしていない」との記載がありました。

全部ひっくるめてどんぶり勘定でやったということですが、考察どおりだとするとダイエット炭酸飲料だけを飲んでいる人では、リスクが低いはずです。

今回の調査では、糖分が高い飲み物かどうかは厳密に区別せずに解析を行ったということですね。
